Lights don’t go green in the early hours of the morning

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2999258.

If you are in the left lane to go towards Whiteley and the industrial park the traffic lights do not recognise a car being there.

On multiple occasions I have been told by workmen to pass through the red light. Others I sit there for 5 minutes and cars go around me. Eventually you have no choice but to pass the red light at caution.

  • All week the light changes have caused big delays onto the main carriageways eastbound and westbound, causing all of our employees using the motorway to get stuck and stressed!

    Is there a reason that they have been changed, as especially this morning, being backed up on the M27 in the fog, was not pleasant!
