Missing county boundary signs, M6

Missing both the STAFFORDSHIRE and CHESHIRE county welcome/boundary signs on the M6. They should both be located near the M6 J16 where the county boundaries are situated.

  • Thank you for your patience whilst we looked into your report. County boundary signs are not a mandatory sign that has to be installed, however they can be useful. I don’t know if there were signs there previously however I can advise we are in the process of installing a Staffordshire sign at Junction 16, this has been agreed with us & Staffordshire County Council. It would be up to Cheshire to liaise with us if they wanted signs at the boundary and to agree the design. I would suggest you contact them for feedback.
