Traffic Light timings causing long delays through Limpley Stoke

Reported via desktop in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 10:16, Thu 9 September 2021

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later

Dear Sir/Madam,

Re: Traffic Lights at Brassknocker Hill, Limpley Stoke, Wiltshire

I am writing to inform you of the recent severe delays along Winsley Hill and Lower Stoke roads travelling North approaching the Warminster Road/Brassknocker Hill traffic lights. The delays are most significant in the mornings.

The traffic lights at this junction are only letting a few cars through from Winsley/Limpley Stoke direction heading towards Bath, and this has been resulting in long traffic jams and delays along Lower Stoke and Winsley Road.

Please can you investigate the timings for these traffic lights, particularly in the mornings to ease the congestion, delay and air pollution along this section.

Best regards
