Raised bump going right across overtaking lane

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2989401.

Raised, harsh bump going right across the overtaking lane, has got worse. Is bad enough in my car, making things in the boot lump up and down but for my husband on his motorbike it is dangerous. When he didn't realise it was there, it had him off his seat. It started off not so bad but using that road 5 days a week, it has got worse.

    I appreciate you taking the time to report this.

    We are aware of the bump in the road on the A14. I can confirm that a business case is being developed to repair the defect in lane 2, adjacent to the entry slip. Unfortunately, I am unable to provide a time frame for this work to be completed.
