Roundabout has excessive vegetation; visibility as a whole is poor

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2980680.
This roundabout has again had a significant amount of vegetation growing, meaning that visibility has somewhat reduced. Additionally, the visibility on this roundabout is poor because of the size of the roundabout itself, and the 'hill' that is situated on the roundabout itself.
When travelling towards Eye Green from Eye, it is difficult to see traffic coming from Eye Green turning right towards the A47 in the Peterborough direction. Likewise, when travelling from Eye to Eye Green, it is difficult to see traffic from Eye turning right towards the A47 to Thorney.
At peak times especially, traffic levels are high on the A47, meaning that traffic travelling between Eye and Eye Green are waiting for a significant amount of time before they are able to go, as the speed of traffic as well as the traffic levels on the roundabout are too high to feel safe. I have witnessed a significant amount of near misses at this roundabout due to the poor visibility of traffic from Eye/Eye Green travelling in the Peterborough/Thorney directions.
This roundabout would benefit from some sort of traffic calming, i.e. traffic lights, or at least a remodelling, making the roundabout flatter and increasing visibility. It appears to be the 'hill' on the roundabout as well as the additional vegetation that is causing visibility problems.

Also, traffic turning right towards Peterborough from Eye Green is not visible until the last moment, when I am travelling towards Eye Green from Eye.

Thank you for contacting National Highways about improving the visibility at Eye Green Roundabout on the A47.
We appreciate you reporting your experiences at the roundabout and your suggestions to have the vegetation cut back and “hill” on the roundabout reduced. We’re hoping to be able to combine cutting the vegetation back on the roundabout along with other work at the junction due over the coming weeks, but don’t have a fixed date yet. The mound on the roundabout is a designed safety feature, so we have no plans to reduce its height.
The mound or “hill” on the roundabout is designed to encourage drivers to slow down on the approach to the roundabout while maintaining the flow of traffic.
Cutting back vegetation in the centre of roundabouts needs a lot of traffic management which can cause significant disruption on our busy networks. This is why we try to combine the task with other work that needs doing.
Thank you again for your query.
Kind Regards National Highways
