Reported via mobile in the Pavement/footpath issue category anonymously at 20:43, Friday 3 September 2021

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later

There is now 2 new housing housing estates in Bridgtown and a lot of people and school children risk life and limb to cross the A5 to get to school and to the local shops. More and more pedestrians are crossing at the lights and its a very dangerous junction for the pedestrian.

  • Thank you for your patience whilst we looked into your report. We can confirm that this location has been added to our pedestrian crossing assessment list. Unfortunately, I can't give you a date as to when this will be undertaken as this will depend on resources and funding. We're also installing a new pedestrian refuge near the B&Q store in the area. This will help with pedestrian crossing issues in the area. If you require any further update on this issue our Customer Contact Centre is available 24 hours a day at: • 0300 123 5000
