Vehicle has collided with road sign so top flapping loose and dangerously

Reported via desktop in the Sign issue (NH) category anonymously at 11:53, Thu 2 September 2021

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2974178.

A tall vehicle has collided with a major route road sign at Charmouth roundabout, dislodging the top of the sign so the sign is hanging loose and could blow off, hitting a vehicle or pedestrian, as well as not being much use to signpost any direction. AND A local sports company has erected a heavy metal blue and white sandwich board advertising itself on the side of the road just before the roundabout. (Couldn't read the name of the company from the road without stopping and causing an obstruction.) The A35 is a major tourist route passing through an AONB and shouldn't have any commercial signs like this along it.
