Poor road markings, Clifton Lane

Reported via desktop in the Road markings (NH) category anonymously at 01:56, Mon 30 August 2021

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2966453.

The worn road markings at the mini roundabout junction on Clifton Lane (B679) and the slip road onto the A52(E) can be dangerous as important give way lines/roundabout markings are illegible. Several faults with illuminated signs lights (give way signs) and a missing bollard add to the issue with this junction.

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting Highways England about road markings and electrical issues. Our inspector has arranged for the road markings to be done, but do to the works at Clifton Bridge, they can't be done as yet. We don't want to cause any more delays to the travelling public. The electrical works are to be done within the next few weeks.
