The manhole is completely exposed in the grass verge of the A12 onslip.

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2965651.

The cast iron manhole cover and its cast iron surround are broken and displaced so that the manhole ( about 5 feet deep) is open for a person/child/animal to fall into especially as there is no street lighting and the very long grass is hiding the hole.
