Traffic lights on M18-M180 Services Roundabout

Reported via desktop in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 14:58, Wed 11 August 2021

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2929151.

The Traffic lights controlling traffic emerging from Doncaster North Services require reconfiguring. Traffic, especially HGV's emerging from the Services do not have sufficient time to enter the Roundabout in a safe manner. The traffic lights controlling traffic from the M18 onto the Roundabout and the traffic lights controlling traffic from the M180 do not allow sufficient time for the traffic emerging from the Services safely. In most cases only 1 HGV has only just time to enter the flow of traffic on the Roundabout therefore causing traffic to que on the slip road from the Services. It is obvious from the debris still remaining on the Roundabout edges that there has been multiple accidents at that point before.
