Severely Obscured vision leaving junction on to A26

Tall grass severely obscures vision when joint A26, ongoing issue and needs regular cutting or suggest Vegetation removed permanently.

  • Thank you for contacting Highways England, regarding overgrown vegetation on the A26.

    Thank you for your feedback. We're aware of the overgrown vegetation you've mentioned. We're advised this location was reviewed during our routine maintenance along the A26 recently and cuts to the area were completed earlier this year.

    In the meantime, we’ll continue to monitor sightlines during our weekly inspections when any safety issues will be raised for urgent mitigation.
