Streetlights taken out but not replaced

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2910367.

These streetlights have not been replaced for 4 years please can you put some new posts in its position you replaced 2 of them earlier on so I'm hoping you will. Thank you

  • Thank you for contacting us about the lack of street lighting M6 junctions 29-30. Our short term plan her is to look into what we can do initially via maintenance, this is being done at the moment, with limited success. Our medium to long term plan is to renew columns where required as they become life-expired. At the moment we don’t have a defined timeline as we are in the initial stages of understanding the root cause behind the problem with this lighting. Once we have this understanding of the cause, these works will progress through the renewals programme.
