Planned works have ignored local events that have been planned for over a year Your advisors on phones are totally unhelpful and not willing resolve issue when presented

  • Thank you for contacting Highways England with regards to this issue, With very little information it is difficult to be able to respond. I assume form the location this is regards to bridge works at Hunsworth Lane. If this is the case I can advise that when the works were proposed several months ago and we discussed with the Local Authority about planned events we were only advised of one. This was called Sapperfest. At the time we spoke to the organisers and advised that we would not be leaving any traffic management out over the weekend. The organisers at the time seemed quite happy with the arrangements. If this is regarding another event then please let us know and we will be happy to advise. Once again thank you for contacting us.
