Grafitti on overhead road signs and in subway under A31 and condition of roundabout with A338

Grafitti on overhead signs looks awful and letting town down - Subway needs refurbishing - ? ownership of roundabout with A338 under A31 , can this roundabout be refurbished

    We are aware of the graffiti on the sign you have mentioned.

    Our inspector has reviewed this issue recently and doesn’t feel it is a safety concern at this time. I can confirm we're investigating a replacement for this sign however we can't provide a timescale.

    This is because as with all repairs safety critical repairs are put first. Then other issues such as this are reviewed. Its not possible for us each financial year to fit all of these repairs in and therefore we can't say for sure when this will be replaced as other schemes may take priority.
