An expansion joint has sunk and when you drive over in a van , car, especially a car with low profile tires you temporarily lose control as you try to join theA27 east bound at Shoreham slip road coming from Steyning

    We are aware of this and the expansion joint has been highlighted. This is currently in the forward programme as part of a expansion joint renewal scheme, for replacement. This is anticipated to start from September.
