Man threw bag of litter out of car

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2885576.

Registration plate was GU20WYM. Man in front seat driving with tattoos on arm. Threw plastic bag of rubbish out of window in front of my car. Should be fined

  • Thank you for taking the time to report litter being thrown from a vehicle on the M6. litter on our roads is unsightly and a risk to the environment. Picking litter puts our workers at risk and diverts time and money that could be better spent on improving the network. We are not a law enforcement organisation so currently we are very limited in the actions we can take against individuals. We have on-going work to develop a process where identified litterers may be issued penalties, but we're not yet in a position to go live with this.
