Road surface damaged my wheel

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later

Going north on M42 after Solihull junction, before junction for A45. Lane 2 or 3 the road surface or something trashed my tyre and alloy wheel. When it happened monday 19/8 at 16:30. Traveller the same way home today and heard another car tyre pop roughly at the same point.

  • Smart Gantry indicated hard shoulder was open and displayed 60mph (I was travelling at 55-57mph) and got flashed by the speed camera? Next Smart Gantry also indicated 60mph so don't know why I was flashed? Had been doing under 60 since nec? Car in front of me also got flashed?
