Traffic lights change to quickly and let very little traffic through

Reported via mobile in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 18:03, Mon 19 July 2021

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later

The traffic lights on the slip road, coming of the motorway westbound at junction 7 change ridiculously quick sometimes only one car getting through. Yet the other set of traffic lights that allow traffic through from the eastbound slip road and hedge end, manage to get plenty of cars through and then congest Charles Watts way so the west bound slip road can't go anywhere, meaning you can only get a very small amount of cars through. I've counted on several occasions only 5 or 6 cars getting through, sometimes even only 1! It's ridiculous and causes traffic to back out onto the motorway which is a big safety risk to the drivers. It also causes other impatient drivers to try and cut in the queue which is also a safety risk when they come to a stop on the motorway.
