Bush overgrowing fottpath

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2864605.

Though the footpath was cleared of weeds and grass within the last month abush that was overgrowing the footpath was left and is now completely blocking it making it necessary to go onto the carriageway to get round.

  • Thank you for contacting Highways England, regarding overgrown vegetation on footpath on the A26.

    This has been highlighted and passed onto our maintenance providers, Kier, who have ‘blockade’ works planned for the week commencing 26 July 2021 until 30 July 2021 when they’ll be carrying out cyclic maintenance, including works such as gully clearance, vegetation cutting, sign cleaning and other safety works, when any vegetation growth will be attended to.
