Dirty road signs

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2860357.

All the signs in this area are extremely dirty. What is the schedule for cleaning them?

Thank you for contacting Highways England about dirty signs.

We are aware of this and our Route Inspector will be cleaning low level signs over the next months. They'll then request our contractors clean the high level signs as necessary. We can't provide a schedule as the cleaning is done when requested by our Inspector who monitors the A3 weekly on a safety inspection.

All signs along the a120 from Marks Farm roundabout to Stanstead are dirty. They are not visible when dark, unless you are right next to them. They urgently need cleaning.
