Litter exit slip roads

When will you litter pick the exit slip road highway verges, sick of reporting to you.

  • Thank you for your patience whilst our inspector reviewed your report.

    Our inspector visited the location a litter pick was carried out in August 2020. The next pick is due January 2022. We last litter picked this area in August 2020. Amey are next planned to litter pick this area in January 2022. Litter picking in the winter has been agreed as more preferable for all parties as the vegetation has reduced and there is more visibility. This area is not identified as a litter hotspot but I have requested an inspector visits the area to establish if a job needs raising to clear litter from this location.

  • We have travelled from Chichester this morning and have counted approx 20 tyres and other significant debris in the central reservation of the M1 en route.
