There is road closed signage at the junction from the A66 to Bolton village , when turning left into the road end it is very difficult to get round the signage as traffic is often queuing to get onto the A66 , this is causing queuing from the A66 into the junction I feel this could well cause a serious traffic collusion , there is access to the village . Would the sign be better actually on the verge on the A66 before the junction so as not to obscure the road ends
These signs are associated with a road closure in Melkinthorpe. The works are managed by Cumbria County Council and Northern Gas Networks. We have passed this report through to CCC and requested that they relocate the signage. Thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention.
