Long tailbacks on Southbound approach to College roundabout SP1 2LW
Reported via desktop in the Structures (eg bridges, fencing, noise barriers) (NH) category anonymously at 11:51, Fri 2 July 2021
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2835227.
Longstanding, frequent problem. Besides inconvenience, it affects emergency vehicles, especially ambulances to hospital. Also increases pollution to college buildings. Suggested solution is a single lane Southbound flyover, like the Hogarth roundabout flyover, Chiswick (see eg. on Wikipedia). This would be much shorter and straighter than that.
