Overgrown Grass land obstructing view of oncoming traffic

The grass land at the Jct 9 exit is hindering vehicle drivers view of oncoming traffic on approach and at the roundabout. Well over a metre in height.

  • Thank you for contacting Highways England concerning grass obscuring sightlines at M65 junction 9 . We'll inspect this location and arrange for the grass to be cut back as needed.

  • Further to our inspection the grass here was cut in May 2021. Visibility from the M65 exit slip is not impaired. The responsibility for the roundabout, is that of Lancashire County Council.

    Could we please ask that you contact them to resolve.
