A few hundred metres before the roundabout heading towards West Bridgford

Reported via desktop in the Pothole (NH) category anonymously at 12:23, Tue 29 June 2021

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2826500.

There is a defect in the left hand lane ("slow lane"). It appears to be an old induction loop or something similar, there is a longitudinal hole with cables of some form in it. For cyclists who do use this road, this is a VERY dangerous type of defect as it is possible to put a wheel in it and it could easily take a cyclist off and into fast moving traffic in the adjacent lane. I ride this road regularly and this defect has been present for months now.
