Badly overgrown foliage along length of pedestrian footpath

Reported via mobile in the Vegetation (grass/hedges/trees) (NH) category anonymously at 19:07, Mon 28 June 2021

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2824966.

Overhanging branches. Footpath width reduced to about 300 - 400mm of visible tarmac in places. The necessity to walk on the verge next to the 60mph A52 because foliage is so low that it’s not easy to walk under it. This is an ongoing issue along this stretch of footpath. It needs proper cutting back of the trees, hedging and grass. The footpath tarmac should be cut back so the full width of available tarmac is visible and useable as two people cannot even walk together along here let alone have a bicycle or pushchair pass in either direction. Please can this sorted as an urgent matter, it’s dangerous at the moment
