Tree fell through my fence

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later

Last night a large bough of a sycamore tree crashed through my fence we have livestock who is responsible for the tree and the fence please

    We are aware of the damage to the boundary fence you have mentioned.

    Our inspector has reviewed this issue re

    The responsibility for boundary fences on an All Purpose Trunk Road, which the A52 falls into this category, lies with the adjacent landowner unless the fence is specific in nature(stockproofing/noise). Our inspector has been to the location specified and can't find any evidence of damage. If you wish to make a claim for damages, please contact our Customer Contact Centre - details below - and tell the Operator you wish to make a red claim. The Operator will ask you some questions and pass on your request.
