Motorist ignoring sign that public bridleway Clatterbridge Road bridge over M53 near j4

Reported via desktop in the Pavement/footpath issue (NH) category anonymously at 18:03, Sat 26 June 2021

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2820304.

Although this road sign near bridge “Public Bridleway No public access for motor vehicles” - when walking my dog I find motorists ignoring this sign and dangerous to pedestrians as bridge not designed to handle pedestrians and motor cars. Reported to Merseyside Police with a registration plate and also informed that I have photos but suspect this will be ignored… until someone walking gets hurt!,
