Concrete Section joints over the south bond M25

Reported via desktop in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 14:48, Fri 25 June 2021

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2818212.

The joints between the concrete sections is now so bad (been deteriorating over years) that it now causes cars to tram line wildly. This issue covers miles of the motorway. People are swerving out the these lanes to avoid them, or drifting into other lanes to avoid them, increasing risk to other roads users. How there has not been any motorcycle rider deaths from the atrocious road surface is amazing. I can understand not resurfacing the whole area but please fix the flipping joints it can't be that expensive.!!!!!

Updates

  • Along m25 a64.4 there is a metal delivery helper in the middle of one of the lanes. A few cars haven’t noticed it and have had to swerve out of the way almost causing a collision

  • I think its high time the surface of the M25 (concrete section) was re-done with tar-mac. Its dangerous and extremely loud which must impact the local community. Also an embarrassment given its the highest profile motorway in the UK!!! Its 2nd world at best in condition. Very sad !!
