Sign missing (on A14 nearside when travelling southbound towards junction 16)

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later

Warning sign missing indicating accompanied horses or ponies likely to be in the road ahead. There are two of these signs here on the nearside and central reservation seen when travelling southbound towards junction 16, however the nearside sign is missing and the empty pole remains. The sign that is missing needs replacing.

  • Thank you for contacting Highways England regarding the missing sign on the A14.

    Our local inspector has been to site and defected this for repair. They have also stated that we are unsure sure this bridle path is still in use as the barrier on the nearside of the eastbound carriageway would prevent horses from crossing. Therefore if this sign isn't replaced the empty sign will be removed.
