Drainage problems still not solved after 2 years of complaining. Can't leave the house without getting soaked by traffic driving too fast though the flooded road. It's not right that we should have to suffer all the filthy water from the road getting sloshed all over our newly decorated house, and of course it seeps in too.

• A120 flooded again late this afternoon. drains have not been working for 2 plus years, I get flooded every time it rains and I am unable to leave my house. my property is listed and is 400 years old. the constant deluge of water thrown at it from the road is unacceptable.   Thank you for contacting us via Fix My Street on 18 June 2021 regarding flooding outside your property on A120.

  I am sorry to hear about the flooding you have faced. We are aware of problems with the drainage in the area and have made several visits to remediate the problems.

  However, due to the complex nature of the drainage in the area and low working window available to us, it is unfortunately not progressing as quickly as we would have liked.

  We have a return visit planned which should take place before Winter, as we are currently in the final stages of planning with our drainage contractor.

  We hope this will be the final visit to fix a major defect in the pipe.
