Pothole large enough to cover half a lane

Reported via desktop in the Pothole (NH) category anonymously at 10:28, Fri 18 June 2021

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2800692.

Main issue is a large Pothole covering half a lane in the outside right hand lane if travelling east. Vehicles are attempting to avoid by driving very close to the Central reservation concrete barrier, it's only a matter of time until someone misjudges and hits the central reservation, Potentially causing death or serious injury. There are also some smaller but significant potholes just before this one in the inside lane (left) before this, at 70mph speed. I'm shocked to see that this has already been reported numerous times and nothing has been done in months? It begs the question Are you waiting for a fatality or serious injury?? is that how potholes are fixed now, that until it causes this it's not deemed necessary or cost effective?
