Sent to National Highways less than a minute later

Overgrown vegetation at the side of the a47 is making it difficult to see fast moving traffic when trying to join the a47 from Lingwood Road. Concerned about safety. Thanks.

  • Thank you for contacting Highways England regarding the overgrown vegetation on the A47.

    We carry out regular inspections of all our roads and cut back the vegetation where we find that it is limiting visibility of road signs, traffic signals or the view ahead. Your concerns have been passed to our maintenance team. They will inspect the area shortly and if necessary, arrange for vegetation/grass to be cut.
