Side of road disintegrating in outside lane

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2787811.

Overtaking on the A1 just near the northbound ‘OK diner ‘ my tyres almost went down the side of the road. Looked like road surface was damaged or coming away. Crumbling. Like a pothole but running along the right hand side of the road. If my tyre had gone in could have been a terrible accident. It scared me.
