New LED streetlights

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2785364.

New streetlights fitted, which a far too bright making the residents feel like we’re in a stadium. The cowls have been removed during the replacement. I’m aware the council are getting the electrical team to fit glare shields. However, I’m curious as to why these weren’t fitted at the time the lights were replaced when it was clear that this would be a problem.
