Collection of debris

Reported via mobile in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 14:25, Fri 11 June 2021

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2785343.

I’m currently having a tyre replaced for the third time this year due to punctures.

This may, in some part be down to the accumulation of debris on the roads. In particular Silverdale Roundabout A453/A52 Nottinghamshire has large collections of stones, metal and no doubt screws and nails.

I am finding myself more frequently instructing my learner driver pupils to change position from the correct one to avoid this debris. This is increasing risk of collision, vehicle damage and is a skid hazard.

Could you please look into this problem and resolve the issue.
