Rough surface has been present for the duration of 2021 to my recollection. At times I have witnessed vehicles brake sharply with no warning.

Updates

  • Highways England have advised as follows: "Temporary repairs aren’t effective, so we currently have ‘bumpy roads’ signage installed by way of mitigation to make drivers aware.

    The inspector has escalated his own safety concerns to our Area Service Delivery Manager for this slip road and I understand that we’re exploring options and costings so we can establish how to address this fully as soon as we can."
