Broken surface, potholes and bad repairs breaking up

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2777412.

On this concrete section between Besthorpe and Wymondham there are numerous potholes, ( counted 37 recently) areas of broken surface, many being broken or sunken previous bad repairs. Most are on the inside lane and are prevalent in both directions. Dangerous to motor bikes and small wheel vehicles.

  • Thank you for contacting Highways England regarding the broken surface, potholes and bad repairs breaking up on the A11.

    We are aware of this section and currently have temporary repairs happening daily.

    We are going in next week to close the Northbound between these locations to carry out more permanent repairs to all defects then the following week we will be on the Southbound side.

    Hopefully these works will resolve the issues that you have identified.
