Dangerous slip lane

Where the slip lane has been reduced from two lanes to one traffic from the new disk carriage way is needlessly forced to merge. Of more concern and danger the new single lane has a distinct bend as it reaches the main carriage way. This gives joining vehicles much less opportunity to see established traffic and to merge safely. The shape of the slip way forces joining traffic to approach at a reduced speed making joining more difficult. Since the width of tarmac has not been reduced the full length of the old two lane slip should be used and the lanes repainted to make this slip way much safer than it currently is. As it currently stands the slip way is much more dangerous than it used to be sure to the combination of merging on the slip way and a bad design. I feel it is only a matter of time before this causes a serious issue.
