Over grown trees/ grass blocking view

Reported via desktop in the Vegetation (grass/hedges/trees) category anonymously at 13:36, Friday 4 June 2021

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later

Hi gear the jacks hill cafe ( on the same side ) the trees and bushes are very over grown and blocking the views from pulling out of the turning out of the area as this is not on the cafe or shops land I assume it's down to highways agency it's only a matter of time before someone is killed again at this spot with cars and lorrys having to pull out regularly and the motorbikes as this was a factor in a death a few years ago

  • The grass has been trimmed ( only at the side of the road not the whole grass area along the hedging but it's the over hanging trees that are the main issue as lorrys are catching them but you can't see clearly to pull out of any of the turning up or down the road someone will get killed again soon especially when people are speeding along that stretch

  • I am disappointed this has still not been done or any attention paid to this matter / messages the turning out is so very dangerous with even more close calls to accidents this week and as someone has been killed at this area in the past few years I thought the council would act more quickly to prevent another fatality happening
