Roundabout is overgrown

Reported via desktop in the Vegetation (grass/hedges/trees) (NH) category anonymously at 13:08, Thu 3 June 2021

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2766080.

The grass is very overgrown on the roundabout and restricts your view of the traffic approaching the roundabout on the eastbound side when your sat at the junction leading from the A521.

Updates

  • Roundabout is so overgrown and so is the stretch of grass heading from the roundabout heading towards Draycott. Visibility is so poor trying to get out onto the road opposite Chandni Cottage. Only a matter of time before a serious accident happens.

  • Roundabout and verges are very overgrown making it impossible to see anything smaller than an HGV until it is almost at your entry onto the roundabout. It is clearly not a wildflower garden, please cut the weeds or install traffic lights to control the traffic

  • The grass on the roundabout has been cut a little bit, but this is not enough, you still have trouble to see if anything is coming round eastbound wen you are waiting to pull out of the A521 heading out of Draycott in the Moors. This is very dangerous.
