Every morning when I go to work I can wait on this roundabout sometimes for 20 minutes as traffic blocks the entrance slip to the M2 London bound, the road markings don’t help neither does the sequence of the traffic lights, the problem has got much worse lately a yellow box junction would help. The lane markings are not that clear and people coming off the M2 frequently get in the wrong lane then try and cut across you or stop dead when they realise they are in the wrong lane ,while waiting at the lights to go down the slip to London traffic going to bluebell hill often misses you by inches as you get stuck in a queue which dosnt move as your exit is blocked. It’s absolute chaos some mornings.
Thank you for contacting Highways England regarding the traffic signals at junction 3 of the M2.
The responsibility for the layout of the road markings and traffic lights on this junction, is that of Kent County Council.
Could we please ask that you to raise your concerns with them.
