Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2745628.

Water is coming up onto driveway 3/4 of the way whenever it rains. It has gotten worse over the past couple of months. Water runs down the road and pools on the road and goes halfway across the carriageway. Drains are blocked.

  • Thank you for contacting Highways England regarding the flooding.

    I have been in contact with our inspector and our drainage specialist who have confirmed that we do have a scheme which should be on the ground pretty soon, pending road space availability, from what I can tell on the details this is closer to the BP garage and the scheme is concentrated on the other side of the river.

    Our drainage specialist has asked that if you can provide some photos and let us know any other times that it rains it may trigger enough information to include a survey of that section of drainage whilst we are out there.
