Good Morning
I am sure this is something you have considered during the works on forder Valley link Road however I just wanted to email with my view.
Since the roadworks on the forder Valley link Road have progressed (the last 2 or 3 weeks) more people are using the a38 and disembarking at manadon roundabout. This is causing extremely long tailbacks to come off at this junction and a higher number of accidents due to this.
I believe it would be prudent to use 'get in lane' and a 50 mile an hour limit to help calming the traffic in this area while the works are completed. So many people change lanes consistently, or wait until the last moment, to come from the outside lane up into the manadon roundabout turnoff and causing a hazard to others.
This is only what I have experienced during general rush hour traffic, however I am sure it is an issue at other times of day and possibly in the other direction coming up from Cornwall.
Please consider putting something in place for this.
Thankyou for listening to my concerns
