Manhole sunk

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2742357.

The manhole at this location is still sunk with no work being done. The lane has been closed since Thursday night. Hull is in total gridlock because no one is working at this location.

  • Thank you for contacting Highways England regarding the sunken manhole

    The responsibility for this issue, on this road, is that of Yorkshire Water. They were notified of this issue with and a inspection team assessed, this was then deemed they needed repairing as a priority but would require a full carriageway closure to rectify the repair. This was agreed and full closures were put in place Yorkshire Water did not however arrive and we are trying to resolve the issue with them. Could we please ask that you contact them to resolve.
