Excessive rainwater and mud running off road

I am not sure if you can help. We are a small community of 5 properties and we live in a small dip off the A49 not far from the Axe and Cleaver Public House in Much Birch Hereford.
We are experiencing an excess of rainwater coming off the main road and it is flowing down our driveway and causing problems. We have looked at our small drains across our driveway that were installed by our developer about 8 years ago and have used drainage rods to clear a build up of mud that was not clearing to the soakaway. It is now obvious that the excess rainwater is causing problems and is dragging mud and debris from the A49 down our driveway and our small driveway drainage is unable to cope. I am wondering if there is a mains drain that is blocked on the main A49 or whether there is enough drainage to cope on the A49 to ensure that this rainwater drains before flowing down our driveway?

Thank you for your patience whilst we looked into your report.
I am sorry for the issues you are experiencing with the drainage in this area and I understand your concerns with this. We are aware of the issues with the two of the drains along this section of road as they have been reported by our inspectors. We are currently programming in the work to visit this location and clear out the drains. Unfortunately, I do not have a date this will be done as of yet, but we are looking at undertaking this within the next few weeks. This will need to be prioritised against other commitments and safety critical work in this area. However I would like to reassure you that safety is our first priority, and we will be continuing to monitor this area as part of our regular checks in the meantime.
