Westbound "On Slip" road from A146

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2725999.

Both lanes of on slip are in use, traffic speeding on two lanes to join slow moving traffic. Not coned down to a single lane, to join the single lane of traffic on the A47 travelling westbound. Better traffic management to merge in turn from single lane. This also applies to Eastbound "on slip"

  • Thank you for your patience whilst our Project Team looked over your report.

    They have informed me that the slip road at the A140 junction, although the slip is wide it’s not actually classed as two lanes and vehicles should filter onto the A47 in one lane. The A146 junction is two lanes along the slip road and then merges into one lane before filtering onto the A47.
