  • Thank you for contacting Highways England about litter on the M32.

We’re aware of the litter issues on the M32. Generally, we collect litter from the motorway once a year, however, we’ve classed the M32 as a litter hotspot and so collect litter there once a month.

We also carry out reactive litter collection. This means that when a member of our inspection team, who patrol the M32 daily, notices a large amount of litter we will collect it as quickly as possible.

We work hard to keep our roads free of litter, but this section is particularly challenging as litter is continually dropped by road users.

    Kind regards Highways England
