Hedge cutting along A34 and A303

Hedges have been cut along the A34 and A303 near Winchester during the last month this is during bird nesting season, this is in violation of the Wildlife and Countryside Act.

Thank you for your patience whilst we completed the repairs in relation to your report. We can confirm that the repair is now completed, and we hope that this improves your journey.
With regard to the bird nesting, our team were fully aware of this and kept disturbance to a minimum. The work was essential however, and had to be completed in order to maintain visibility for drivers when using that section of the road. All health and safety checks are completed before and during works for both our colleagues and the surrounding environment. Hopefully this now assists with your query.
