Misleading signage

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2694889.

Saying after roadworks end national spped limit but new signs have been put up after (these are extremy small signs with no large warning sign) saying 50. Clarity needed.

  • Thank you for contacting Highways England about the speed limit sign issue on the M181. These signs relate to the new permanent speed limit signs which is going to be introduced when the TM is off .Our team to check the signs and alter any temporary signage to coincide with the new permanent limit after the works ..
